You can now access your Cosmonote notes directly from Claude. Ask Claude to summarize your meetings, find action items, or search through your notes — all without leaving the conversation.
What you’ll need
- Cosmonote account with at least one recorded note
- Cosmonote API key (found in the app settings)
- Claude Pro or Team account
Step 1: Copy your API key from Cosmonote
- Open the Cosmonote app
- Go to the Settings tab
- Open the API keys menu
- Copy your API key
Keep this key handy — you’ll need it in the next step.
Step 2: Add the connector in Claude
- Go to claude.ai/settings/connectors
- In the dialog, fill in:
- Name: Cosmonote
- Remote MCP server URL:
https://nebula.cosmonote.ai/mcp
- Click Add
- Cosmonote now appears in your connectors list — click Connect on the right
- Claude will redirect you to a Cosmonote authorization page
- Paste your API key and click Connect
That’s it. Claude now has access to your notes.
What you can do
Once connected, you can ask Claude things like:
- “What were the action items from my last meeting?”
- “Summarize my notes from this week”
- “What did we decide about the project timeline?”
- “List all my recent notes”
Claude will use three tools to access your data:
- list_notes — Browse all your notes with titles, dates, and summaries
- get_note — Read the full content of a specific note (transcript, summary, decisions)
- list_action_items — See action items extracted from your meetings
Privacy
Claude only accesses your notes when you explicitly ask it to in a conversation. Your API key is stored securely by Claude and is never shared. You can revoke access at any time by deleting the API key in the Cosmonote app.
