You can now access your Cosmonote notes directly from ChatGPT. Ask ChatGPT to summarize your meetings, find action items, or search through your notes — all without leaving the conversation.
What you’ll need

- Cosmonote API key (found in the app settings)
- ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team account
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode in ChatGPT

Keep this key handy — you’ll need it in the next step.
Step 3: Add Cosmonote as a connector
- In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors
- Click Create
- Fill in:
- Name: Cosmonote
- Description: Access my Cosmonote audio notes, transcriptions, summaries, and action items
- URL:
https://nebula.cosmonote.ai/mcp
- Set authentication to OAuth
- Confirm by selecting I trust this application
- Click Create
- ChatGPT will redirect you to a Cosmonote authorization page
- Paste your API key and click Connect
That’s it. ChatGPT now has access to your notes.
What you can do
Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT things like:
- “What were the action items from my last meeting?”
- “Summarize my notes from this week”
- “What did we decide about the project timeline?”
- “List all my recent notes”
ChatGPT will use three tools to access your data:
- list_notes — Browse all your notes with titles, dates, and summaries
- get_note — Read the full content of a specific note (transcript, summary, decisions)
- list_action_items — See action items extracted from your meetings
Privacy
ChatGPT only accesses your notes when you explicitly ask it to in a conversation. Your API key is stored securely by ChatGPT and is never shared. You can revoke access at any time by deleting the API key in the Cosmonote app.
