1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Cosmonote (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Cosmonote is a mobile application that records, transcribes, and summarizes audio content such as meetings, lectures, and voice notes. The Service may also extract action items and integrate with third-party tools.
3. Account
When you use Cosmonote, an anonymous account is automatically created and linked to your device. You can optionally sign in with Google, Apple, or email to secure your account and protect your data in case you lose access to your device. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Record conversations without the consent of all participants where required by law
- Use the Service to infringe on the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or hack the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the recordings, transcriptions, and summaries you create with Cosmonote. We do not claim any rights over your content. You can delete your content at any time, and it will be permanently removed from our servers.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read it to understand how we handle your data.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Some features of Cosmonote require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Billing, renewals, and cancellations follow Apple's terms and policies.
8. Availability and modifications
We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of liability
Cosmonote is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate transcriptions, or missed action items.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time from within the app.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating this page with a new effective date.
